Golden Ticket Fight Promotion 19 is shaping up nicely. With the announcement of yet another amateur match-up, fans will have lots of action to get stuck into one on June 4th. This Lightweight bout between George Mouzakitis and Venet Banushi is a top fight that should have you chomping at the bit with anticipation.
George Mouzakitis
With a record of 2-1 as an amateur. George’s last three bouts have been down a weight class at Featherweight. Potentially looking for a new home, he jumps up this fight to Lightweight. Starting his career with a bang, Mouzakitis won his first two bouts, handily finishing his first in the second round. With great striking acumen, he will be looking to add to his repertoire and once again produce the goods.
Unsuccessful in his last outing, George will look to put that loss behind him and use it as a learning experience. Training out of Team Renegade BJJ. He has a solid team around him, with plenty of talents who know what it takes. A former Roar Combat League European champion. Mouzakitis looks to bring his Muay Thai success into his MMA career and replicate then build on his achievements.
Venet Banushi
The Kosovan fighter remains undefeated as an amateur, with two fights and two wins to his name. Earning both his wins via decision, Venet will be looking to put on a show and give the fans something to remember. With a 1-0 boxing record, Banushi can hold his own in the striking department but has honed his craft to make himself dangerous elsewhere as well.
Fighting out of Reykjavik Iceland, Venet trains at Mjölnir gym also in Iceland. Boasting an exciting crop of European fighters, Banushi will be looking to sear his name in the memory of fans who attend GTFP 19.
