Wolverhampton-based promotion Golden Ticket Fight Promotions are to donate a portion of ticket sales to charity at their upcoming event, GTFP 23. This event takes place on Saturday 2nd September. GTFP have also announced that they will be decreasing ticket prices due to the cost of living crisis, meaning more fans will be able to go to the show and support both the fighters and the charity.
With many things planned for this charity event, Golden Ticket Fight Promotions will donate a minimum of £1 for every fight ticket sold at the event. Details will come in the next few days regarding the charity event and what it entails. Be sure to keep an eye out for updates.
Golden Ticket Fight Promotions Hosting Charity Event in Support of Families With PTSD
Golden Ticket Fight Promotion announced that they are showing support for the charity MyOppo supporting families with PTSD. My Oppo, which means “My Friend” in military slang, aims to provide for serving and former members of the armed forces who are diagnosed with or experiencing PTSD symptoms. The charity provides support groups and related services to the family to help them to be able to support their loved ones. MyOppo has also announced a self-help programme.
“The programme will involve a range of activities to help families and people with PTSD develop self-help techniques to help cope with PTSD. Our programme will involve workshops with various specialists such as Psychotherapists, life coaches and counsellors. You will also have access to online fitness classes, guided meditation and yoga classes.”

Golden Ticket Fight Promotions is also raising money through sponsors of the event announcing that two companies have already partnered with Golden Ticket Fight Promotions. 4eleven which is a company that makes and provides fight gear for fighters and promoters, and LiveMMA which is a streaming platform for live MMA shows across the globe. The UK regional MMA community is coming together to raise awareness for families with PTSD and aiding in helping Golden Ticket Fight Promotions to host a charity event.
