GTFP 19 is set to remind people why Golden Ticket Fight Promotions are among the leading promotions on the regional UK MMA scene. The card is stacked with exciting up and comers and grizzled vets from top to bottom. In the card’s main event, Melissa Dixon will take on Mafalda Carmona in a super exciting main event. However, the action is not limited to the evening’s headliner.
It seems as though Golden Ticket are announcing bangers almost daily. This fight is no different. The KK Steelmill will play host to Jack Humphries vs Mikael Aclipen in a contest that will produce fireworks.
Both of the men involved in this fight have trained with some of the top guys in the MMA scene, both in the UK and worldwide. There seems to be little that separates the two bantamweight fighters, which makes this bout so intriguing.
Jack Humphries vs Mikael Aclipen
Mjolnir MMA’s Mikael Aclipen comes into this fight with a record of 2-2. However, do not let this fool you. Both of his losses have come against top guys in some of the top international amateur tournaments. Aclipen likes to control the bout and seems comfortable wherever the fight takes place. The 18-year-old boasts two victories on his record, both coming by way of a decision. This means should the fight go the distance, Mikael will be able to throw down till the final bell. Under the tutorage of UFC veteran Gunnar Nelson I’m sure we can expect great things for the future of Mikael Aclipen.
Standing across the cage will be the undefeated prospect, Jack Humphries. Fighting out of Fearless MMA, Humphries will be looking to add yet another victory to his record. The Brit has a heavy grapple style and will look to get the fight to the mat where he can showcase his top-level ground skills. Jack has spent a lot of time recently with UFC newcomer Jake Hadley, and this can only add to an already impressive skill set.
