Almighty Fighting Championship recently announced an upcoming headliner, a professional middleweight scrap between Haider Khan and Ole Magnor for the 185-pound belt.
This AFC 27 headliner will top Almighty’s first-ever visit to Manchester, particularly the Bowler’s Exhibition Centre.
The date to check your calendars for is Sunday, 24th July. You won’t want to miss this!
Haider Khan vs Ole Magnor
Haider Khan (3-0-0) turned pro in July of 2021 and now, one year later will fight for Almighty FC gold. Khan returns to the cage after an 8-month lay-off and looks to improve on his 2-fight AFC win streak and keep his clean, professional record.
His pro debut came on the main card of UKFC 14, where he earned a unanimous decision win over Igor Puskarskis. He then signed with AFC and moved to 2-0 with a ground & pound victory over Bertrand Batamag Epoune, and eventually claimed a 3rd pro victory over Sebastian Sroka at Almighty Fighting Championship 21.
As for his amateur record, Haider went 8-1, including a first-round TKO over Denis Hadirov at the 2019 IMMAF-WMMAA European Senior & Junior Open Championships.
He headlines this card in his home city of Manchester, so impressing the familiar crowd will surely be one of his aims.
Ole Magnor (6-6-0) makes his Almighty debut in this one as he heads straight for the gold. He also returns to competing in MMA for the first time since November 2019.
His previous wins can’t be overlooked, though. Ole is currently on a three-fight win streak, 2 of those being first-round finishes. Despite being Norweigan, he is no stranger to the UK MMA scene. Magnor has fought with Battle Arena, ICE FC, UNITY FC and Olympus FC.
In 2018, Ole fought current UFC superstar Khamzat Chimaev. However, he lost via first round submission.
