Ian Garry and Geoff Neal Meet Outside the Cage
Ahead of their scheduled fight, the pair had a chance meeting in their hotel lobby. Despite the animosity between Garry and Neal, the face-off was brief and was a wholesome moment.

Is the Bad Blood Squashed?
This is a scarce difference in the build-up from their previously scheduled bout. Originally pencilled in to fight at UFC 292. The fight wouldn’t happen as Neal withdrew due to injury leaving Garry to take on Neil Magny instead. Winning his alternative bout via unanimous decision.
The build-up to the fight before wasn’t as tasteful last time around. Garry in an attempt to get under Neal’s skin, would don a t-shirt with a picture of Neal from an arrest photograph. Neal didn’t take kindly to the Garry jab at what was a low point. Claiming the Irishman’s antics were ‘some low-class s**t.”
Once Neal withdrew from the fight due to injury, Garry would boast he was victorious in the bout via method of ‘Mental Warfare’. Garry, who is undefeated as a pro boasting a 13-0 record. Makes his return to the cage for the first time since UFC 292. He was scheduled to face Vicente Luque at UFC 296 but withdrew due to illness.
Geoff Neal’s last fight was almost one year ago at UFC 285. Where he lost to surging contender Shavkat Rakhmonov. Looking to get back to winning ways and make amends for the words Garry said last time,Neal is ready for the challenge.
