Ian Garry has responded to Dillon Danis‘ callout. On the MMA Hour, Danis named a number of UFC fighters as potential opponents including Garry. Afterwards, ‘The Future’ fired back in an Instagram clip posted by Betrcombat.
Ian Garry Responds to Dillon Danis
Danis is due to fight Logan Paul in a boxing match on October 14th despite being under contract with Bellator MMA. With the future of the promotion in jeopardy, Danis said that he would like to join the UFC if Bellator were to fold, and called out Garry in the process.
“I’m willing to go and go out there and see what I’m saying is true,” said Danis. “If I go to the UFC, give me your toughest fight. Give me Ian Garry, give me Neil Magny, anybody, Leon Edwards. That would be the easiest fight. Colby [Covington], anybody.”

Garry was shown the clip by Betr and responded to the callout. “Everyone get in the car. Stop trying to wind me up. I would kill that guy,” he said.
Business as Usual
Danis is known for being outspoken in interviews and on social media, therefore a fight with ‘The Future’ is extremely unlikely. Moreover, he is only 2-0 as a pro and has not fought since 2019. Even if ‘El Jefe’ signs for the UFC, he probably won’t be matched up against any of the names he called out at this point in his career.
On the other hand, Garry is 13-0 and looks to be a top prospect in the welterweight division. He defeated Neil Magny via unanimous decision in his last bout, and looked in total control throughout. The Irish star is set to take a step up in competition at UFC 296 in December as he takes on the dangerous Vincente Luque. If victorious, he will take another big leap towards securing a title shot.
