Ian Machado Garry has shot down prospects of taking on fellow UK based fighter Michael Venom Page despite the recent post fight callout from Page.
Ian Garry is un interested in the fight even after Venom Page dominated Kevin Holland on the most recent UFC numbered card (299). Garry is 14-0 in his career and has recently beaten Geoff Neal in a split decision win on UFC 298. Despite the rise in both of the fighters profiles Ian Garry says,“No, his number’s not higher than mine.”
“I want to be the best in the world and unless your number is higher than mine, I’m not interested. Unless he passes me in the division and his number is higher than mine, zero interest.”
Despite telling Sky Sports that he isn’t interested in a fight with Page, he did give credit to him for the win over Kevin Holland.
I’m glad he punched out Kevin Holland. That guy talks a lot of smack as well and that just proves that he’s not good enough to be in the top 10. did [think Page would lose.] I said I don’t think he beats him, but yeah, he surprised me. Well done.
Ian Garry Has His Eyes on Another Opponent
Ian Garry doesn’t show much interest in a fight with MVP but instead turns his focus to Ex title challenger Colby Chaos Covington.
There’s no way, shape, or form, or universe that I lose this fight,” Garry said of the potential match-up: “I’m going to punch the mouth off Colby Covington.
Both have been polarising characters in the UFC and a match up on the mic is promising enough for the both of them to be paired up, let alone when they get in the cage together to battle without words.
