After his emphatic victory at UFC 282 over Bryce Mitchell. Ilia Topuria was recorded backstage giving his reaction to the result of the co-main event between Paddy Pimblett and Jared Gordon.

Remaining undefeated and moving to 13-0 on the night. Ilia put on one hell of a performance against the #9 ranked Featherweight Bryce Mitchell to enter the top 10.
Using an excellent game plan to great success his striking looked on point and his takedown defence held strong. It was the second round where Topuria got the job done.
Landing hard on the feet he wobbled Bryce multiple times before dropping the American to the canvas. Following the grappling specialist down, he would soon lock up a submission of his own to score the second-round victory via arm triangle.
Paddy Pimblett Beef
As the UFC 282 press conference proved, Paddy and Ilia are not too fond of one another. After an altercation earlier this year at UFC London in March the two have been trading barbs ever since.
This appeared to come to a head in the build-up to the event as their feud would take over the stage. As each man would insult the other ignoring their scheduled opponents.
Ilia’s Reaction to Paddy’s “Win”
It was Ilia who fought first. As the first fight on the main card, Topuria made the walk three fights before the Scouser. This gave the Featherweight plenty of time to sit back and watch “The Baddy” compete later in the night.
As Paddy fought to a controversial decision win over Jared Gordon. A fight many others thought he lost. Ilia was filmed backstage disbelieving of the result and even laughing at the result.

After the fact Ilia Topuria was asked about the fight at the post-fight press conference, here’s what he had to say.
“They give him a Christmas gift right now because he clearly lost the fight. I don’t think anyone disagrees with me in this room. Jared won all three rounds. He didn’t win any rounds.”
“But anyway, f*ck him. Right now, I’m going to celebrate my win. Like I said before, he’s not in my way right now, so, God bless everyone who’s not in my way. If he crosses in my way, then we’re going to put his head like Bryce’s head tonight.”
