This Saturday saw the first event of the newly formed Intergrapple competition, an interclub grappling event. Hosted by UK BJJ wizard Shane Curtis, it truly was a fantastic day, and another BJJ event for fans to sink their teeth into is more than welcome.
Over a five hour day, we saw plenty of the UK’s top BJJ talent competing against each other. One would be forgiven for assuming this was a well-established promotion with the professionalism and structure shown by everyone involved.
The event took place at Nottingham MMA, and all proceeds went to the REORG charity. REORG is a great cause that teaches BJJ to people who have suffered life-altering injuries or are suffering from mental illnesses. The charity aims itself toward servicemen and women and emergency workers and veterans. You can read more about them here – https://reorgcharity.com.
We have all the results for the super fights that took place. We can’t wait for the next Intergrapple event!
