Invicta FC returns to action today, May 3rd, 2023, for Invicta FC: 53 DeCoursey vs. Dos Santos from Reelworks Denver.
Invicta 53’s headliner will feature Atomweight Champion Jillian “Lionheart” DeCoursey (6-3), defending her title against up-and-coming fighter and DWCS veteran Rayanne Dos Santos (13-6). DeCoursey is coming off a first-round submission win over Jessica Delboni at Invicta FC 49 to capture the title. While Dos Santos is coming off of a tough won decision victory over Katie Saull at Invicta FC 51.
The co-main event of the night will see a Bantamweight bout between former Invicta title challenger and Bellator veteran Olga “Big Bad” Rubin (8-3) and Denver’s own Claire “Grizzley” Guthrie (5-1). Both fighters made their last appearance at Invicta FC 51, with Rubin besting Serena DeJesus by decision and Guthrie winning by decision against Auttumn Norton.
