Israel Adesanya has shared a video on his YouTube channel of his reaction to teammate Alexander Volkanovski losing at UFC 298.
Heading into the bout Volkanovski was the reigning champion and undefeated at featherweight. His opponent Ilia Topuria, was 14-0 and extremely confident before the bout.
To the shock of many. Topuria’s confidence was proved to be true. When in the second round the Spanish-Georgian caught the champion with a huge hook. Dropping the Aussie to the canvas before finishing the fight with a few follow-up strikes.
With fans in attendance in awe of the spectacular performance Topuria had just displayed. Fans at home had a similarly shocked reaction. One such person was Israel Adesanya who shared his reaction to the Volkanovski loss online.
