Israel Adesanya is not known for his ground game. He is known rather for his incredible striking. However, Israel Adesanya showed a large improvement in his ground game in his first UFC clash with his long rival Alex Pereira. With Sean Strickland’s interesting and unorthadox style of fighting, the ground may be a good place for Adesanya to take the fight. And maybe, he could get his first submission win.
Israel Adesanya VS Sean Strickland
The next massive match up for the middleweight division is a truly exciting one. Israel Adesanya, the middleweight champion, and Sean Strickland, the 5th ranked middleweight. Adesanya, now that Alex Pereira has moved up to light heavyweight, is practically unrivaled as a striker in the division. However Sean Strickland brings a unique style that Adesanya has never had to deal with before. Both fighters are coming of wins. Adesanya is coming off a win against his fierce rival Pereira. Sean Strickland is coming of a win against Abus Magomedov. As previously stated, Sean Strickland brings a new and interesting style to the champ so we may see the fight go to the ground and Adesanya gain his first submission win.
