As the anticipation builds for this Saturday’s clash in Wales, amateur MMA fighter Jack Colledge is gearing up for another exciting showdown on Almighty Fighting Championship 35. With his eyes set on victory, College reflects on his journey thus far and looks ahead to the challenges that lie ahead.
“It’s super important for me to keep building on that momentum and start to really show that I am one to watch in this space. I’m aiming to win titles I’ve known from the start that this isn’t just going to be a hobby for me,” says Colledge, emphasizing the significance of maintaining his winning streak.

Reflecting on his successful debut year in 2023, Colledge attributes much of his early success to the support and guidance of his dedicated team: “I think my early success can largely be attributed to the team I have around me pushing me from my first session at one MMA and forcing me to acclimatise to the level of competition much quicker than what’s typically expected,” he shares. “I do also think my level of competitiveness is a big player in my success so far. I hate to lose and always have, and the only real way to combat that is to train like a dog.”
With a diverse skill set showcased in his previous fights, Colledge promises fans an even more dynamic performance this time around: “The fans can expect a much better showcase of my skills this time round, granted my opponent is up for a scrap. I feel like I’ve not really had the chance to let the strikes fly or even the show the control in the grappling exchanges so expect that for sure,” he affirms.
Despite the months-long hiatus since his last appearance in the cage, Colledge assures that he hasn’t been idle: “I’ve been working some nice details in the gym which have really added to my locker in the cage. Working through aspects of my sparring rounds with Dre, Dale and a few of the lads has helped massively in developing my overall MMA game,” he explains, hinting at the enhancements he’s made to his fighting arsenal.
Looking ahead to his upcoming opponent, Kalon Tymon, Jack Colledge remains focused and determined: “I’m ready to face whatever he brings to the table,” he states confidently.
