This weekend sees the return of the undefeated Bantamweight Jack Shore. He’ll compete in a top 15 showdown vs Ricky Simon. In a bizarre move, the UFC has decided to book the fight one week before UFC’s London Card. Some fans might be unaware of the times as it’s not being held in the UK. Don’t worry. We’ve got you.
Jack Shore vs Ricky Simon
A tremendous match-up between two bright prospects in an already stacked bantamweight division. #14 Jack will venture to New York to take on #11 Simon. This fight came to fruition after a fan suggested the match on Twitter. Both men agreed, and it was seemingly going to take place in London on July 22nd.
We’re unsure why it wasn’t, but nevertheless, it’s a great fight and a big spot for Jack “Tank” Shore. Looking to make his mark on enemy turf. Should Shore win this fight, he’ll move to 17-0 and maybe into the top 10.
Where and When to Watch
Fighting on the UFC on ABC: Ortega vs Rodríguez card. This event is full from top to bottom of talent. Jack’s fight is currently on the prelims. However, this could change. The event start time is down as 11 am ET which for us Brits is 3 pm. The main card should start three hours later at 6 pm.
So with that, Jack Shore will make his walk to the cage around 6:00 pm on Saturday. This event can be watched in two places. If you are keen to watch the early prelims, you can watch via UFC Fight Pass. If you’re only tuning in for the prelims or main card, they’ll be watchable on BT sport or via the app.
