A scheduled match-up at Bantamweight between Jack Shore and Kyler Phillips has fallen through. The reasoning behind the fight no longer going ahead, is an injury for the Welshman Shore.
Shore, who was wanting to bounce back strong after suffering his first loss. Has taken to social media to explain the detail of his injury that has forced him to withdraw.
The Injury Details
He took to Facebook and posted the following:
Just a quick post guys!
Unfortunately, I am out of my upcoming fight due to a serious knee injury. Gonna be sidelined for likely the rest of the year as this one is gonna take a bit of time to get right!
I’ll go into more detail about the specifics on my next podcast to save the long post.
As always thank you all for your support! #JSA 🏴
The Fight
As Jack Shore will now be out injured for a while it is clear the fight will be off indefinitely. Originally taking place at a UFC Fight Night on November 19th. It is unclear whether the UFC will try and keep Kyler on the card and find a replacement for Jack. This would have been a great fight and it’s a shame it’s not happening now.
Hopefully, Jack can recover quickly and be back as soon as possible. We here at Combat Sport UK wish Jack a speedy recovery.
