In an expected firefight with New Yorker Mike Davis, UK finisher Jai Herbert returns at UFC London on March 19th.
With UFC London already looking filled with candidates for the fight of the night bonus, many may overlook this guaranteed barnburner.
Jai Herbert will be remembered fondly by fans of UK based promotion Cage Warriors, in which he competed five times for his highlight reel knockouts before he made his way to the UFC.
Jai Herbert Shoots to Kill
Englishman Herbert isn’t one for hearing the judges opinion.
They rarely need to get involved with only one of his 14 pro fights going the distance.
This is primarily due to his impressive 91% finishing rate. He uses long punches to stun opponents, often leaving them with bloodied up noses and a sense of frustration at the Renegade BJJ stars elusiveness.
In the closing sequence, Herbert drowned Worthy with punches on the feet. He followed his beaten opponent to the ground and finished him with ground and pound.
Mike Davis Is No Pushover
Mike Davis has no problems in upsetting the UK fans, as his last opponent Mason Jones knows only too well.
The previously unbeaten Welshman was on the wrong side of a decision to Davis on UFC Fight Island in January.
Far from being known for his decision victories, Davis has finished 89% of his opponents, making this fight one not to miss.
Will Davis spoil the party or can Herbert add another win for team UK at UFC London?
