Rumours continued to thrive this past week as the trio came face to face in a viral online video posted by Logan himself.
In the video, McGregor would tell the brothers his plans for the two of them. Describing them as “side jobs”. Logan would quip back quickly claiming “You can’t even do your main job, how are you going to do a side job?”.
Despite the fan fair and both sides of the fight being keen on reaching an agreement. The fight is unlikely to happen.
McGregor has since come out and told fans that although he wants the fight, the UFC isn’t allowing him to compete against Logan Paul.
Jake Paul Responds To Rumours Over Conor McGregor vs Logan Paul Fall Through
Since then, even more fuel has been added to the already-heated flames. The Daily Mail has claimed UFC CEO Dana White doesn’t want McGregor to take the fight.
The reason cited in their article (here) is that White has a strong dislike of Logan’s younger brother Jake Paul.
The pair of Dana White and Jake Paul have had a feud for some years now. Each taking shots at the other when possible.
As Paul continues to discuss his disagreement with UFC fighter pay. White claims Paul takes easy fights among other things.
Taking to X to respond Jake Paul has had his say on him being the reason the Logan vs Conor fight isn’t happening.
Per Jake Paul on X: “Dana White didn’t let Conor fight Logan bc of his hatred for me? Haha. I hope this is bs. Can’t be that petty can he?”
What do you make of Jake Paul apparently being the reason Dana White pulled the plug on a potential Conor McGregor vs Logan Paul boxing match?
