Youtuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul will soon be turning his attention to MMA in the near future. This will be after his blockbuster fight against heavyweight legend Mike Tyson. Now the CEO of the PFL Peter Murray has confirmed recently that Jake Paul will be competing in MMA in 2025.
Jake Paul Facing Mike Tyson
Jake Paul will be facing off against Mike Tyson on November 15th 2024, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. This fight will consist of eight rounds with each round lasting two minutes.
Jake Paul transitioned from being a Youtuber to being a professional boxer. Throughout his journey in the boxing ring, he has faced and defeated many UFC athletes. This has included Nate Diaz, Anderson Silva, and Tyron Woodley among other fighters. Mike Tyson, who will turn 58 years old just weeks before the fight against Jake Paul, is a legendary former heavyweight champion who has had an incredible career which has included becoming the youngest boxer to win a heavyweight title. However, Mike Tyson has been inactive in the sport for nearly 20 years apart from an exhibition fight he did against Roy Jones Jr in 2020.

Once Jake Paul has had his boxing fight against Mike Tyson, the US-born athlete Jake Paul will turn his attention to MMA in the PFL. PFL CEO Peter Murray had an interview with Bloody Elbow in which he confirmed Jake Paul will compete in MMA in 2025. Peter Murray confirmed this when he stated;
“We have a partnership with Jake and we’re looking forward to supporting him in MMA. We’re going to stage that mega event next year and more to come on that too, that will happen. There’s a number of opponents who continue to line up.”
“Conceptually this event continues to getting bigger and bigger. Jake has committed to take on a for real, legitimate fighter. So it’ll be a spectacle.”
On October 19th, the PFL will be in Saudi Arabia for their Battle of the Giants card. The main card will be headlined by a heavyweight title fight between former UFC champion Francis Ngannou and Rennan Ferreira, the towering knockout artist. Also featuring on the card is MMA legend Cris Cyborg who will be facing two-time PFL champion Larissa Pacheco in the co-main event. Larissa Pacheco is the current PFL women’s champion.
