Jake Paul is set, first time in his professional boxing career against to face a fighter with a winning boxing record. Paul faces former UFC middleweight champion and all-time MMA great Anderson Silva. Jake Paul vs Anderson Silva will take place Saturday, October 29th on Showtime PPV.
Paul (5-0, 4KO) is finally making his return to the ring after successive fights with Tommy Fury, brother of WBC heavyweight king Tyson Fury, and Hasim Rahman jr. fell through. Paul’s competition has seen an incremental increase throughout his career, Silva is the next challenge in Paul’s evolution. Paul is coming off knockouts over former collegiate wrestling standout Ben Askren and former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley. Silva is by far the most boxing-aligned opponent for Paul so far. Silva, known for his striking prowess, is significantly larger than welterweights Askren and Woodley
Paul defeated Woodley back in December 2021 via sixth-round KO, a devastating right hook that saw Woodley faceplant the canvas. Silva, most recently took a split decision win over former WBC middleweight champion Julie César Chávez Jr combined with a first-round KO of former light-heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz in September of 2021.

Glendale, Arizona will host the complete fight from the Desert Diamond Arena on Saturday, October 29th at 9 pm EST/ 2 am BST. Showtime hosts the Jake Paul vs Anderson Silva Pay-Per-View at a price of $59.99. For those in the UK and Canada, FITE.tv will be hosting the PPV. The Card is as follows.

Jake Paul is certainly facing his toughest test to date in Anderson Silva. It remains to be seen who will come out on top as the 47-year-old middleweight takes on the 25-year-old cruiserweight. There is a notable skill difference between Silva and Paul but size favours the less accredited Paul.
Will Paul be able to win with sheer will and brawn? or will Silva use his skill, developed over decades, to pick apart the young and hungry Paul? Could this be a good fight or will it be a blow out?
