Jake Williams Predicts Finishing Anthony McGovern at Almighty FC 35
With his amateur career progressing steadily, Jake reflects on his journey so far and the lessons learned along the way.
“My amateur career so far has been a decent start with 3 wins and 1 loss; however, it is very much the beginning as I have still yet to show the level I’m performing at each day in the gym and will only keep getting better. If I was to change anything, I potentially would have been more active to gain as much experience as possible; however, that’s much easier said than done when you have a 9 to 5 and a life outside of MMA.”
Prepared and focused, Jake discusses his preparations for Anthony McGovern and his strategy for the fight.
“I have watched plenty of footage of Anthony and have a pretty good idea of his game plan. As long as I keep my chin down, I believe his aggressive style will play into my game, and it will be a comfortable night.”
Looking ahead to fight night, Jake shares his prediction for the outcome, envisioning a ground and pound or rear-naked choke finish deep into the second round.
“I believe I get the job done with a ground and pound or RNC finish deep into the second round.”
