Jamahal Hill Demands Rematch
Alex Pereira may want to watch his back. This is because Jamahal Hill is continuing to try and get his rematch. This is after Alex Pereira was able to get the 1st round-stoppage victory over Jamahal Hill at UFC 300. There is no question about the stoppage but the sequence wasn’t “clean” enough to move on.
Due to this Hill who once held the light heavyweight title is demanding a rematch. Speaking on his YouTube channel Jamahal Hill explained;
“Alex has got his own task ahead of him,”
“This weekend, he’s fighting Jiri Prochazka defending the title. Best of luck to you in your fight, in this rematch with Jiri, because if you lose? I don’t give a f*ck if they offer me a title shot — it’s me and you. You win? I’m going to go starch the next guy, and I’ll see you soon. You lose? I see you real soon.”
Alex Pereira will be defending his light heavyweight title this weekend at UFC 303. This is in a rematch against Jiri Prochazka in the main event slot in Las Vegas. Jamahal Hill did have an opportunity himself to state a claim to get his rematch with a match at UFC 303. However, Jamahal Hill was forced into withdrawing from his fight against Khalil Rountree. This was due to a knee injury. There is currently no confirmed timeline for when we will be able to see Hill back inside the UFC octagon once again. Will we see Jamahal Hill be able to get his rematch that he is craving? Would he be successful this time around or will Alex Pereira be able to get the victory once again.
