For Jamahal it may have not been his night at UFC 300, but he decided to go on his social media and react to his knockout loss to Alex Pereira.
It may be a bitter pill to swallow not being able to win back his light heavyweight championship. Unfortunately, there will be some fans who will thrive over Hill’s loss.
Jamahal Hill Addresses UFC 300 Loss To Alex Pereira
After the main event, Jamahal Hill would share a positive message to his fans around the world via his social media and seemed good considering the loss.
“Oh well, that’s the game we play,” Hill said. “I got caught. For anyone that cares, I’m good. I’m well. We’re still doing our thing tonight, you know where we’re at — we’re over at Hakkasan. Yeah, man. We’re just built to come right back.”
Jamahal Hill’s journey is not over and it’s too quick to write the former light heavyweight champ off.
What is Next For Hill?
Jamahal Hill vs. Jiří Procházka could be the next fight to make for the former contenders.
After his impressive win against Aleksandar Rakić, Jiří Procházka is looking to get back into title contention and a future match-up with Hill could benefit both men on their hunt for redemption against Alex Pereira.
There is no denying that Hill can put this fight behind him, get back to the drawing board and move forward on his young journey within the UFC.
Let’s just hope that the fans that will be out in full force critiquing and criticizing this loss won’t make Hill sour and lose focus on reclaiming a world title.
