As the date for Rise and Conquer draws near, Jess Catleugh is gearing up for her upcoming fight against Caroline Plumley. Here’s what Catleugh had to say in our interview ahead of her upcoming clash in the Rainton Arena.
“Yeah staying as active as possible gives me an opportunity to gain that experience which helps me improve as a fighter and that’s what it’s about for me.”
Catleugh expresses her commitment to staying active in the ring to continuously grow and develop as a fighter.
“Thank you, yeah I was happy to get that win. I felt calm going into it because I knew I’d put enough work in behind the scenes and was ready to leave it all in there. No pressure on me I was focused on the task in hand and was confident that I could get the job done.”

Reflecting on her recent victory, Catleugh highlights her confidence and preparation leading up to the fight, emphasizing her satisfaction with the outcome.
“Yeah, definitely. I’ll always watch the fight back and look for ways I can improve, whether it’s a win or a loss and especially with me only being 3 fights in, I’ve got so much to learn, but I will improve every time I step in there.”
Despite securing the win, Catleugh remains focused on self-improvement and identifies areas for growth in her performance.
“It’s a great match up it’s got violence written all over it. She’s a good aggressive fighter and I look forward to sharing the cage with her but whatever game plan she comes in with I’m going to shut it down and pick her apart.”
