We have another massive bout added to the Almighty FC 28 card, where Elliot McGibbon will challenge for the amateur middleweight title and hand Joe Ambler his first loss.
Joe Ambler (6-0) vs Elliot McGibbon (4-1)
Ambler will be looking to continue his sensational run of form as he currently sits at 6-0 to begin his career. All six wins so far have come through a variety of endings, with two unanimous decisions, one submission, and three KO/TKO’s; showcasing his ability to do the job on the feet or the floor, whether he wins in the first round, or the fight goes the distance. He will certainly be looking to showcase his talents further come fight night to defend his title. Will he make another emphatic title defence?
McGibbon will come in looking to upset the odds, where he has also demonstrated he can do the job anywhere with two decisions, one sub, and one TKO, suffering his only loss via decision in between his two 2-fight win streaks. I wonder how he will approach this fight?
What will the #1 ranked amateur middleweight do against #25? It should be a fan-thrilling fight.
Either of the fighters’ chins has yet to be cracked. Who will hold up? Will Ambler defend his title?
