As the excitement builds for his upcoming fight at Almighty Fighting Championship 35 in Deeside, Wales, Joel Bassnett is gearing up for his first walk of the year. Feeling mentally and physically great, he’s ready to step into the cage once again.
Reflecting on his upcoming opponent, Sam Wall, Joel acknowledges the limited information available about him:
“I’ve not seen much on him think he’s only had 1 or 2 fights and there not on YouTube but I always focus on what am going to do in there anyway.”
Joel Bassnett Talks Discrepancy on Tapology
Addressing his record discrepancy on Tapology, where two wins were marked as ineligible, Joel expresses his frustration:
“Yeah, it’s annoying, but there’s nothing I could do about it. I had two opponents who had to pull out close to the fight, and they were the replacements. The shows I was fighting on found to replace them and they don’t feel like a waste because I trained hard for those fights and leveled up.”
Looking ahead, Joel remains optimistic about the future:
“A win over Sam will just be the start of a big year for me.”
This Saturday Joel Bassnett will get the opportunity to do so. Tickets can still be purchased by visiting the promotion’s social media accounts.
