Almighty FC’s next card of fights is taking shape nicely, and they have added another bout between two British prospects. The fight will take place at lightweight under the amateur ruleset at Almighty FC 25 in Barnsley. Almighty FC is coming off of a great night in Liverpool and looks to have another on May 28th.
Joel Caine vs. Tom Holtby
A lightweight bout between 23-year-old Joel Caine and 20-year-old Tom Holtby has also been added to the card. Both British fighters are young and inexperienced and will attempt to make a name for themselves on May 28th. Caine is a BJJ blue belt associated with Next Generation MMA in Liverpool, which has produced numerous notable fighters. Tom “Hovis” Holtby will be in his second amateur MMA fight, so the experience will not necessarily play a part in this one. Holtby is affiliated with Hit Squad Hull in East Yorkshire and plans on having a good showing for his coastal gym.
Almighty FC 25 at The Barnsley Metrodome
The Barnsley Metrodome will host the array of fights on May 28th and is shaping up nicely. With the mix of amateur and professional fights taking place, action will be constant. If you are making the trip to Barnsley to catch the action live, be sure to get there in time for the early scraps, as the amateurs will likely put on a great show. Combat Sports UK will be on scene and have all the coverage of Almighty FC and more.
