The KSI Vs Tommy Fury press conference erupted into chaos, as John Fury, father of Tommy, destroyed the press tables.
We are now unfortunately, becoming more and more accustomed to seeing ‘faux boxing’ fights, or what could be referred to as ‘the circus’. Boxing events, between these so called ‘celebrities’ are becoming more frequent and even more of a stain on the sport of boxing. It seems that John Fury, father of Tommy Fury and world heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury has had enough.
John Fury Explodes
The co-main event, features Dillon Danis Vs Logan Paul. Dillon Danis has spent the last week, hurling insults and pictures about Logan Paul’s fiancée. Danis has been relentless in his trolling of Logan and the atmosphere between the pair was icy to say the least.
Personal insults were thrown throughout the press conference. Until John Fury had had enough. Fury erupted in an all out rage and jumped to his feet, screaming at the ‘celebrities’ around the table.
“F**k all this s**t. Talking all this bulls**t about people’s personal bo***cks. We’re fighting men. I’ll fight any man in the building. Let’s get this ball rolling. Get the cake and shove it right up your a***hole. Before I do it. All these f**king little kids. I’m a machine. Me. Can anybody question who I am here? I’m the real deal. Me. This.” Fury then grabbed at his… Groin… Whilst proclaiming he was, “The father of the king of the world”. Quotes are to be credited to combatsportsuk.co.uk.
In between all the shouting and screaming, Fury punched the presser table before hurling two tables into the crowd. He then marched over to the table where KSI and Logan Paul were sat and kicked the table into the air.
This sparked a mass brawl on the stage between all parties as the event security intervened.

A Stain on Real Boxing
If you are a true fan of boxing, then you are not a fan of these events. ‘Youtube’, ‘OnlyFans’, ‘Celebrity’, ‘Misfits’ or anything with the surname ‘Paul’ in it, cannot be considered to be, real boxing. Terence Crawford, Naoya Inoue, Canelo Alvarez. That, is real boxing.
Real boxers, are real fighters. Fighters who scrap, and claw their way through the local talent in their area. Men and women who come through the trials and tribulations of true professional boxing. Fighters who take real, dangerous fights, against real, dangerous opposition. People who are involved in the sport because they love it, or because it’s the only thing that they are good at.
This ‘fake’ boxing, tarnishes the brutality of the sport to the casual fan. It is an embarrassment. An embarrassment that looks like boxing, sounds like boxing, but is not, boxing.
This continued circus, grabs headlines, it grabs clicks, it generates income and it is purely a cash grab for these so called ‘fighters’ who actually, can’t fight. Unfortunately, it isn’t going to go anywhere, anytime soon. It generates too much money. If it was advertised as an ‘entertainment’ spectacle, similar to the ‘WWE’ for example, then it would be much more bearable.
Boxing is it’s own worst enemy and it opened the doors for this sort of event to find it’s way into the mainstream media. Let’s just hope that the casual fan understands the difference, and that this is not what real boxing looks like. This is a new world of ‘entertainment’ and that’s how it should be treated. As it continues to be referred to as boxing, real boxing fans emotions draw similarities to that of John Fury, in a blind rage, as the circus remains on track.
