Have you ever wondered how your legs would fare against a UFC Champion’s leg kick? The answer will almost always be the same not very well especially if the champion is Jon Jones. The only real question someone should be asking is how badly you can get hurt by a leg kick. Especially from someone whose job it is to hurt someone.
Jon Jones Becoming the Heavyweight Champion
Jon Jones is the UFC heavyweight champion and was able to clinch the title by defeating Ciryl Gane. Jones was able to submit the Frenchmen in the first round. While preparing for his first title defence Jones tore his pectoral muscle that ruled him out for 6 months. Jon Jones is currently on the mend and has since kept himself busy training over in Thailand. Jon Jones has also been seen at quite a few fan meet-ups, much to the fans delight.
Jones Hospitalises a Fan
One fan then challenged the greatest mixed martial artist of all time to give him a leg kick and it can be seen the champion held back with the first kick. However, after receiving the kick the fan then wanted Jones to kick the fan once again. Jon Jones then went in for a second kick which sent the fan needing to go to the hospital.
This is not the first interaction between a fan and a fighter asking to be kicked in the leg.
UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira and former UFC welterweight title challenger Jorge Masvidal have done the same thing. While these fighters only did one kick instead of two like Jon Jones did, it still shows people want to experience how it feels.
The fan, however, isn’t too upset about the incident and since receiving the kick has since posted a photo from the hospital. The photo showed the fan leaving the hospital with crutches however, hasn’t revealed the extent of the injury he has received.
