UFC veteran Jorge Masvidal says his team mate Johnny Eblen should go to the UFC and chase his dreams.
Jorge Masvidal Wants Johnny Eblen in the UFC
Johnny Eblen faces off against Impa Kasanganay tonight in the PFL vs Bellator co- main event. American Top Team teammate Jorge Masvidal gave his thoughts and feels like this will be a dominant performance of Eblen. He said the following.
Masvidal Weighs in
“Johnny’s going to dominate. I’ve seen Johnny work out with world champions, and I’ve seen him steamroll those guys”. “Johnny’s mean. That’s why I like him. When we first started training together, I’d kick him hard, and he’d f*****g kick me back harder. I punched him in the face, he’d f*****g punch me back harder”.
Eblen has strong wrestling, but his standup can is his strongest suit. A hard hitter with power posing difficulty for any opponent. Although Masvidal is calling for his debut in the UFC, Eblen is signed to the PFL until late 2025. So it is unlikely we will see the star make the change anytime soon.
Masvidal said: I hope the PFL does the right thing and lets Johnny go. Let Johnny go to the UFC and carry out his dreams. He’s the best middleweight in the world. He doesn’t have the recognition yet, but he will”.
He followed by saying: “This isn’t going to be good for Impa. Johnny’s going to disintegrate him” . Strong words from the UFC veteran. A lot of confidence in his team mate to win tonight.
