Jorge Masvidal has claimed that UFC superstar Conor McGregor is ‘using steroids’ before issuing a severe warning for the Irishman.
McGregor has not fought since his clash with Dustin Poirier back in July of 2021 at UFC 264.
On that night, unfortunately, the Irishman suffered a brutal leg break and is still recovering.
Conor has recently started to train lightly and has admitted that he is willing to fight at welterweight upon his return.
Jorge Masvidal Claims Conor McGregor Is ‘Using Steroids’ and Threatens to Break His Face
Speaking to ESPN Deportes, Masvidal said: “He is false, he knows that I am a man who hits hard and that I come to kill, I do not come to play hug in the cage, I am going to give everything inside me to kill him.
“I have a little size, although now he is puncturing and putting steroids and all kinds of things, but he is still a little boy.
“I would love to fight at 170 pounds, but I don’t wait for anyone. If he wants to do it, I’ll break his face, if he doesn’t want to do it, let him come next.”
Masvidal is currently riding a three-fight losing streak following two defeats to Kamaru Usman and a recent loss against rival Colby Covington.
Since the defeat to Covington, Masvidal and ‘Chaos’ clashed outside a restaurant in Miami, leaving Colby with a fractured tooth.
Jorge was arrested and charged with aggravated battery and criminal mischief.
It’s fair to say that McGregor is not short of opponents should he return to the octagon this year.
Despite admitting his desire to return to boxing, McGregor has stated that he has ‘unfinished business’ with the UFC.
A potential showdown between ‘Gamebred’ and ‘The Notorious’ one will no doubt do incredible PPV numbers.
