The British Boxing Board of Control have ordered Troy Williamson to defend his British super welterweight title against Josh Kelly.

“I just hope Josh takes the fight and isn’t like all the others who just want easy fights.” Troy told Probellum.com
He went on to say “I’ve known Josh since our amateur days and we are friends outside of the ring, but that will have to be put to one side if we fight.”
Troy Williamson 18-0-1 with 11 KO’s defeated the tough, durable war machine Ted Cheeseman to claim the British 154lbs title by way of TKO in what was a contender for fight of the year 2021.

The natural talent, skill and confidence from Josh Kelly is on display for all to see. It appears, at 28 years old, he will have to win this extremely tough match up to keep any hope of achieving this dream.

The purse bid for the showcase is set for August 10. However, Josh Kelly is currently set to fight at the end of July, facing Lucas Brian Ariel Bastida. 18-1-1.
