As the countdown to Rise and Conquer on April 6th begins, Kamaran Amini finds himself preparing for another bout under their banner. With a successful track record on the show, Amini shares insights into his motivations and preparations for his upcoming fight against Will Jones at the Rainton Arena.
For Amini, the appeal of Rise and Conquer lies in its professionalism and proximity to home:
“It’s a very well and very professionally organized show, plus it’s very close to where I live, which makes it very convenient for my friends to come and show their support,” he explains.
Having already stepped into the cage once this year, Amini expresses his intention for an active 2024:
“Yes, because I wanted to have a healthy and productive year this year, and fighting gives me a goal, a direction,” he states.

Reflecting on his previous bout where he faced Jacob Dove, Amini identifies areas for improvement:
“It was 2 reasons that I lost: 1st I abandoned the game plan, 2nd I focused on the wrong techniques to try to submit him, but I learned from it,” he admits.
As he prepares to square off against Will Brown, who’s returning to action after a period of inactivity, Amini acknowledges Brown’s activity in BJJ and anticipates a tough fight:
“He might have been inactive in MMA, but he’s been very active in BJJ, so I’m expecting a good fight from him,” he notes.
Considering his own recent activity compared to Brown’s hiatus, Amini sees it as a potential advantage but remains focused on the task at hand:
“I hope that will give me the advantage over him, but I am not taking him lightly,” he asserts, “I’ve been working very hard for this fight.”
In offering his prediction for the fight, Amini emphasizes his determination to showcase his improvement and dedication:
“Will is a good fighter, however, in my last fight I feel like I didn’t try hard enough and didn’t give it all! I believe I could have done better and I’m trying to prove that to myself this time,” he concludes. “I just hope that Will makes weight.”
