As the countdown to BFC 5 on April 13th in Middlesbrough begins, all eyes are on Kelvin Allan as he gears up to face George West in the cage. Ahead of his first fight of 2024, we caught up with Allan to discuss his feelings and preparations leading into the bout.
“I’m really looking forward to the fight and to get back in the cage. Looking forward to getting in there and mixing it up,” Allan shared when asked about his physical condition and mindset ahead of the fight.
Reflecting on his career thus far, Allan acknowledged the challenges of injuries but expressed his determination to stay active:
“There have been large gaps due to some injuries and healing them, but that’s part of the game we play. Being active is everything in this game, and I will look to be more active this year and continue the momentum,” he explained.

Commenting on his opponent, Allan remained confident in his abilities:
“I’ve watched the fight. I think it’ll be a good, hard matchup which should bring the best out in me. You will see the best version of Kelvin Allen on April 13th,” he stated.
Looking ahead to the fight in Middlesbrough, Allan promised an electrifying performance:
“You can expect a show from start to finish. The Scots will bring the noise, and I’ll bring the violence,” he declared.
