Kevin Holland has always been a fan favourite and the UFC has found him a dance pattern for UFC 302.
Kevin Holland Fight Announcement at UFC 302
Holland has always been a fan favourite due to his win-or-lose mentality. Holland always brings great energy during the whole fight week when he is set to enter the UFC cage. While the result is very important for him as it’ll determine the next opponent he is also just pretty hungry to find an opponent and get in there and fight.
During his last appearance in the UFC cage, Kevin Holland welcomed Michael Page into the UFC cage after his move from Bellator. Unfortunately for Kevin Holland, he wasn’t able to get the victory and ended up leaving with a unanimous decision defeat. However, Holland will enter the cage 3 months after this defeat at UFC 302. Holland will be facing Michał Oleksiejczuk who is coming off from a first-round submission defeat to Michael Pereira. The fight was confirmed by the UFC.
This fight will be contested as a middleweight fight. This fight will see Kevin Holland return to the middleweight for the first time since October 2021. Holland’s last fight was a no-contest against the now Cage Fury Middleweight Champion Kyle Daukaus. The fight ended in the first round due to an accidental clash of heads. This was Holland’s last fight at middleweight before moving down to welterweight. Holland will now move back up to middleweight and will be hoping to get back to winning ways.
Holland Added to UFC 302 Card
Everyone has witnessed how good Kevin Holland is inside the cage however, he hasn’t picked up a victory since submitting Michael Chiesa in the first round in July 2023. Kevin Holland will have to be at his very best at UFC 302 due to Michal Oleksiejczuk being no slouch. Michal will be entering the cage and will be looking to take Holland’s head clean off regardless of whether or not he can achieve this or not. This fight promises to be a must-watch fight for fight fans and promises to be an all-action affair.
This fight has been added to the UFC 302 card which will see Islam Makhachev defend his lightweight title against Dustin Poirier.
