Darren Till is an interesting guy to follow on social media. Having been linked recently to a fight with Uriah Hall, The fearsome TUF alumni. Joaquin Buckley, however, would also appear to want the fight against the Scouse striker.
Darren Till, however, has many options to consider and, as evidenced in his response, might be looking for a more well-established brand to pit his own against in the cage.
When Joaquin Buckley approached them, the Liverpool UFC star was backstage at UFC 273 with his partner in crime Khamzat Chimaev. The UFC fighter is a fellow 185 pounder who specialises in striking and striking hard.
So far, all but one of Buckley’s UFC fights have ended in a knockout and would be a fun matchup for “The Gorilla” should he consider it.
Joaquin Buckley Confronts Darren Till Backstage
Appearing to initially be speaking of Khamzat, Buckley states:
“He is at 170, I can’t be worrying about him”
Till is then heard saying
“A fight in July, Yeah?” to which Buckley replies “London, Yeah?, Don’t play with me”.
Buckley then leaves the pair, who seem confused.
“Who is that guy?” asks Khamzat, which elicits laughter from the giggly Till.
“I don’t know” is the reply as the two walks off into a roar of self-made laughter.
Shortly after, Chimaev challenged Buckley as he walked away:
“You wanna play gangster I’ll f*** you up”.
While it may have been unexpected, Darren Till now has another offer on the table. Could he have also just given away a secret?
Could there potentially be a UFC London card in July, if so, who should Till take on?
