As the dust was settling on UFC 280, Khamzat Chimaev was causing a stir just outside the cage. With the main event over, and victorious Lightweight champion Islam Makhachev addressing the cage. The Wolf appeared to have beef with someone.
It’s unclear who, or what it was involving. However, it is very evident something went down to draw the attention of those in the surrounding area. As the video shows, Khamzat is visually annoyed and trying to talk and get to someone.
Swarmed by security Chimaev is ushered away from the area, as he continues to throw verbal insults in a general direction.
Becoming a Habit?
Very recently competing at the last PPV UFC 279. This threw the whole event into disarray thanks to Khamzat. Firstly with a backstage altercation involving other top fighters from the card.
Further chaos ensued when he missed weight by a whopping 8 lbs. This miss caused the final three bouts on the card to be shuffled. Causing major disruption.
There has been much to say about his recent friendship with Darren Till. Who people believe could be a bad influence on him. Darren, who fights at UFC 282, is a decisive figure in his own right. With his in-cage form not at its best, people question his antics.
Has the stardom got to Khamzat Chimaev?
