KSI and Jake Paul have maintained a heated rivalry between them since the birth of the Youtube Boxing scene. It began with the KSI’s win over Jake Paul’s older brother Logan and since that day, both parties have been keen to face one another in the ring.
Both men were in a Twitter Spaces call with fans listening in. They went back and forth at each other as they have been over the past couple of years. There were mentions of contracts being sent but never signed and past opportunities to fight one another, which had not materialised. They both claim to want the fight this year, either in the summer or towards the back end of the year. Paul stated, ‘I’m ready. November, December, September’
Preview of 2023 for KSI and Jake Paul
KSI begins the year with a fight at the OVO Arena in London against fellow Youtube boxing star Thomas Oliveira known as ‘Faze Temper’, who boxed three times last year, picking up two victories. In an interview with Ariel Helwani, KSI had flirted with the idea of a Conor McGregor fight later down the line after a win against Jake Paul. Jake Paul started the year off with a huge announcement that he was signing a deal with the PFL, an organisation that many believe had an astounding breakout year in 2022. Paul has continued his public push in regards to increasing fighter pay in the sport of MMA whilst also proposing a two fight deal to UFC fan favourite Nate Diaz with the first fight in boxing and then six months down the line in the PFL cage.
With that in mind, is there space in this calendar year for Paul to push his new PFL career further whilst also finding a date to face a foe he has been chasing for years in KSI? Only time will tell, but I am sure that 2023 will be a busy year for both of these men.

Paul: What’s in the water in the UK? Because you are all p***ies. You are all ducking bro. Duck duck goose.

Paul: KSI do you want to fight over the summer?
KSI: I said what I said at the end of the year. Are you f***ing dumb? I am going to fight you.
Paul: When?
KSI: End of the year!
Paul: Are you actually going to do it? I’m ready, November, December, September whenever the f*** you want it. I want to hear you say it out of your mouth because I know you are going to retreat.
KSI: How am I going to retreat?
Paul: You always do, you always hid behind negotiations. I offered to fight you for free and you wouldn’t do it so what are you going to do now?
KSI: You weren’t going to fight me for free, shut up.
Paul: I swear I was going to fight you for free. You can ask Logan, he called me and he goes ‘why the f*** would you do that?’ Duck duck goose.
KSI: You didn’t send me a contract.
Paul: It was your fight, I said I would show up for free. It was your fight, I said I would show up for free. Why would I send you a contract for your fight that I was going to show up at in London and knock you the f*** out.
KSI: The commission is not going to just allow that.

KSI: You have to look at things like size of the ring.
