KSI has gone and fired back at former UFC double champ Conor McGregor. This was after McGregor ripped into KSI’s “bulls***” song.
KSI Fires Back
Conor McGregor was supposed to be facing off against Michael Chandler last June. However, a toe injury would force him to withdraw from the fight at UFC 303 as he looks to return to the octagon for the first time since July 2021. This was when he suffered a crushing TKO (Doctor stoppage) defeat to Dustin Poirier in the trilogy fight.
While he hasn’t been in the octagon for a fight he has been able to make several appearances in the fight game. This has included an outing at last weekend’s Bare Knuckle FC event in Marbella, Spain. Conor McGregor is a part owner of Bare Knuckle FC and went and fired shots at Floyd Mayweather and Nate Diaz before going and firing at KSI.
Referencing KSI’s new song, the Irishman exclaimed “Let’s go, man I’ll fight him for that bulls*** song he released alone.”
The song he is referring to is KSI’s new song called ‘Thick of It’ and it features rapper Trippie Redd, with the track coming under a bit of fire online. Well KSI has since responded to Conor McGregor and he welcomed a fight with the former UFC double champ. KSI said this when he said;
“I’m here to fight, bro! I’m here to fight. Okay,”
“I said I want big fights, and I’m gonna get big fights. Next year we’re going to fight big. That’s how I am and I can’t wait. I’ve been training hard, working hard, making sure I knock out opponents. You know, making sure that the weight is on point every time and I can’t wait.”
“So, bro, Conor, let’s go.”
KSI has competed in six professional boxing fights. However, he has not fought since his controversial defeat to Tommy Fury last year. He currently holds victories over Logan Paul, Swarmz, Luis Alcaraz Pineda, FaZe Temperrr. He also had a victory against Joe Fournier until the match was eventually changed to a no-contest. Meanwhile, Conor McGregor has one boxing fight on his record. This was when he fought Floyd Mayweather in a money-spinning Las Vegas fight back in August 2017.
Another boxing fight could be on the cards in the future as the former double champ only has two fights left on his current UFC deal.
