KSI to Fight Dillon Danis March on 29
KSI vs Dillon Danis Announced
Misfits Boxing has officially announced Misfits 21, which is headlined by the face of Misfits KSI who takes on Dillon Danis in Unfinished Business at the AO Arena, Manchester.
KSI was originally set to face former Chelsea footballer Wayne Bridge. It was announced in the ring of Darren Till vs Anthony Taylor. However, Bridge pulled out weeks ago due to the comments made by KSI about John Terry and Wayne Bridge’s ex. This fight was met with heavy complaints from influencer boxing fans, as they expect him to be beyond this level now.
Danis fought Logan Paul on the Prime Card which was headlined by KSI vs Tommy Fury. The fight ended in DQ as Danis attempted to takedown Paul and perform a guillotine choke. This was met with a mass brawl, subsequently a DQ for Danis. He was met with heavy criticism for his performance as he barely threw a punch and seemed to be in there just to survive.
The Unfinished Business
It all started back in November 2022 when Danis was at Misfits 003, and backstage he slapped KSI which caused huge engagement online.
The fight between the two was then announced in December 2022 for January 14th 2023. The buildup was intense. Coffee is thrown during pressers, and pure hatred between the pair. However just ten days until the fight Danis pulled out. Many reasons for the pullout were spouted online with some including contractual issues. KSI’s replacement was FaZe Temperrr who he dealt with via brutal KO.
However, a fight between the two never came to fruition and instead, Danis fought Logan Paul in 2023. The pair continued to go back and forth on all socials after the pullout, but talks of the pair fighting fizzled out.
Although Danis hasn’t shown his ability in the boxing game, it’s set to be an intense buildup. With the press conferences and face-offs being events not to miss. All the action will be live on DAZN PPV on March 29th.
