Not many amateurs in the UK have reached the heights that Campbell has, having attained five championships within a 12-month period. Posing an (8-1) record, Campbell has used his amateur career to challenge himself as much as possible, always looking for the toughest fights and writing history.
With opposition hard to come by at this stage of his amateur career, Campbell and his team now feel the time is right to make the leap to the pro-circuit.
“The Pink Panther” closes of his amateur career with two victories in 2022, two first-round finishes, and two in the way of rear-naked-choke. Those victims were Kyle Jones, who as undefeated at the time, and Poland’s Miłosz Kruk.
It remains to be seen who will welcome Kurtis Campbell to the pro-ranks, but one thing’s for sure, you don’t want to miss it.
