Lerone ‘The Miracle’ Murphy makes his return to action in his toughest test to date against heavy hitter Josh Emmett. The bout is scheduled to Headline the April 5th fight night card.

Murphy has an unbeaten record of 15-0-1 (7-0-1 UFC). The Brit currently sits at #11 in the featherweight rankings and returns to the cage for the first time since October of last year.
Winning seven in a row, since his draw in his UFC debut. Murphy has been a dark horse at 145 lbs for several years now. A 2022 cycling accident almost forced Murphy to retire, but he’s since bounced back stronger than ever.
Despite already defeating names like Dan Ige and Edson Barboza. This will be without doubt the most challenging fight of Murphy’s career so far.
Across the cage from Murphy will be Josh Emmett (19-4, 10-4 UFC). Emmett is known for his solid wrestling base and explosive power which has seen him score seven knockouts.
Last time out he scored one of the UFC’s most brutal KOs when he blasted Bryce Mitchell unconscious. A mainstay in the rankings for several years, Emmett currently sits at #8.
Emmett will turn 40 between now and the fight. Meaning Murphy, 33 will be seven years junior come fight night. It isn’t unusual for Emmett to fight younger opponents having done so in all but one of his UFC fights (Ricardo Lamas).
