Louis Lee Scott scored the biggest knockout of his career in the second bout of PFL Europe 1 this Saturday in Newcastle, England.
Scott entered the bout high on confidence boasting a perfect (4-0) record, with all his victories coming by way of stoppage. Conversely, Robinson came into the fight with a (2-0) record. However, the Englishman’s last competitive fight occurred in 2018, and it showed on the night. The rising talent that is Scott showed the skill-advantage from the get-go.
When the first bell rang, Robinson dashed across the cage, eager to close the distance with the intent to startle Scott, but that only presented “lighting” with openings to pick his shots, and that’s exactly what he did.
Scott landed a beautifully timed check-left hook which dropped Robinson, who staggered back to his feet, then was met with a few more shots before being met with a Leon Edwards-esque head kick.

In the end, Robinson was a tad too eager to close the distance and land strikes of his own. A valuable lesson he will learn and correct ahead of his return to the Octagon.
The nickname “lighting” now makes sense to a wider audience, and Scott promised those a weather warning prior to stepping in there. On his Instagram, he posted:
“WEATHER WARNING ⚠️ Lightning will strike this evening in the Vertu Motors Arena ⛈ STAY SAFE 💀”
