Mana Martinez takes out the returning Brandon Davis in a war which ends in a split decision at UFC Vegas 62.
A competitive first round where both men exchange on the feet. It’s Mana Martinez who slightly edges it due to volume and efficiency.
In the second Brandon Davis does well and looks to be coming back into the fight. Similar to the first but on the reverse, it is Davis doing the best work. This all changes with 20-second remaining on the clock.
Mana Martinez lands a spinning back fist that wobbles Brandon. Seeing he has his opponent hurt, Mana pushes the action and lands heavy blows that drops his opponent. Somehow, Brandon survives and it goes to the third.
The third is similar to the first two rounds. Both men have their moments on the feet. As well as exchanging takedowns where they do good work. The round ends with Brandon Davis in control.
