Scotland’s rising star Mark Ewen has signed a multi-fight deal with American MMA promotion Combate Global. Higher Level MMA announced the news via their social media accounts.
The news comes after the (2-0) pro-fighter has struggled to get matched on the regional circuit, which speaks volumes on that the talent he possesses.
Mark Ewen made his professional debut in 2021. Fighting twice in two months and first taking out Michael Blair in enemy territory by TKO in round two. He followed it up with another round two TKO over a durable Tom Mullen on Almighty Fighting Championship, again in a hostile environment.
Mark Ewen Signs With Combate Global
The Scottish MMA community knew it wouldn’t be long until Ewen hits the bigger shows. Combate Global have a real gem on their hands. In June, the twenty-three-year-old is expected to make his debut with the organisation in Miami, Florida.
Combate Global, previously Combate Americas, is an American MMA sports organisation that is directed toward a Hispanic audience. The promotion airs on Univision, Televisa, TUDN, CBS Sports Network and Paramount Plus.
The company’s CEO, Campbell McLaren, is famously recognized as the co-founder/co-creator of the UFC. The hardcore UFC fans know the huge role McLaren played in the birth of the worldwide phenomenon that it is today.
With big opportunities come big challenges, something Mark Ewen has never shied away from and will be relishing the opportunity to showcase his talent to the world.
