Martin Bakole has completed the biggest boxing replacement in history after agreeing to take on Joseph Parker on just TWO days notice.
The Congolese native has agreed to take on Joseph Parker on the shortest notice possible with the boxing world taken by storm.
Parker was all set to face Daniel Dubois on Saturday night.
After reports from Turki Alalshikh owned Ring magazine Dubois caught a illness.
This illness eventually came to be the reason in which Dubois has pulled out of the fight on short notice.

The tweet from the Ring Magazine read as follows.
“The Ring has learned that IBF heavyweight world champion Daniel Dubois is sick and is currently being evaluated by a doctor. A replacement is being pursued in the event that Dubois is unable to move forward with his defence against Joseph Parker on Saturday night.”
The rumours swirled around the boxing media landscape with many asking who the replacements being looked at were.
Names such as Laurence Okolie, David Adeleye and Mourad Aliev were put out by the Ring themselves.
But it turned out Martin Bakole was ready for this opportunity.
Martin Bakole Was Primed and Ready-
Trainer Billy Nelson put this tweet out as the Dubois news broke.
“We have instructed our promoter to tell the appropriate people that
@MartinBakole01 is ready to fly to Saudi Arabia to fight Joe Parker, no problem whatsoever”
Bakole and his team then set about to make the moves that would eventually land himself in the biggest boxing replacement in recent history.
The Congolese big puncher was sat at his home when the news broke.
Hours later he is travelling to Riyadh Saudi Arabia to fight on TWO days notice.
The Ring officially confirmed this just hours after the Dubois rumours started.
“ANNOUNCED: Joseph Parker will now face Martin Bakole in a heavyweight clash on Saturday night after Daniel Dubois was ruled out due to illness.”
The announcement has sent shivers down the boxing world creating a massive buzz.
Short announcement replacements were a complete anomaly before Tuesday night when Josh Padley was announced to take on Shakur Stevenson.
Now with Turki Alalshikh cards falling apart late may be a thing of the past.
Credit has to go to both men Joseph Parker and Martin Bakole for stepping up on such short notice.
