Martin Bakole has recently taken to X/Twitter to rant about Anthony Joshua’s recent comments about his upcoming potential fight with Efe Ajagba.
Martin Bakole Vs Efe Ajagba has been ordered in a battle for the next opportunity at Daniel Dubois’s IBF title but Anthony Joshua’s recent comments on this bout haven’t sat well with Bakole.
Anthony Joshua recently claimed that Ajagba would beat Bakole in an interview with The Voice.
“Two giants of Africa coming together to collide. It’s going to be an interesting fight,” he told The Voice.
“Efe is a good boxer, and obviously, I’m going to support Efe, even though he doesn’t support me.
“I’m backing him because we are from the same place, and I want to see him do well.”
Martin Bakole hasn’t taken these comments from Joshua very well going on a tirade on Twitter/X.
“I want to knock you out,” Bakole said. “I heard you talking shit saying Ajagba was going to beat me. Shame on you. How many times did I call you out? How many times did I ask to fight in Africa? You should be ashamed of yourself. I want to fight you. I want to knock you out.
Martin Bakole’s Previous Issues With Heavyweight Star-
Martin Bakole has had rifts with other star heavyweights like Daniel Dubois.
“Look at Daniel Dubois. I broke his nose twice. He knocked you out cold. I will knock you out in the first round. You’re talking about Ajagba; Ajagba is a baby. Wait until you see how I am going to knock him out. I want you to be there. You’re talking shit. I want to fight you. Stop talking nonsense. Now you say you’re in Nigeria and are not British anymore. I will knock you out. I’m the African champ. I’m an African warrior. After knocking Ajagba out, I will knock you out as well.”
Martin Bakole and Anthony Joshua have had talks previously about a fight taking place in Africa but due to negotiations stalling the fight hasn’t taken place.
Martin Bakole will look towards titles rather than Joshua’s way with his IBF eliminator with Efe Ajagba yet to have a confirmed date but has been agreed upon by both fighters.
