Mateusz Rębecki earns a dominant decision win over Nick Fiore in his UFC debut at UFC Strickland Vs Imavov.
Mateusz Rębeck wastes no time in his debut as he presses forward with non-stop activity. Nick Fiore weathers the storm and looks to pick his shots. Rębeck is kicking low and punching high, Nick is responding with kicks to the body to slow his opponent down. Mateusz secured a takedown with 1:30 remaining on the clock. Using his top position he lands some huge shots from Fiore’s guard opening a cut.
No slowing down round two starts with Mateusz once again storming forward. The gas tank seems to be slowing and Fiore takes advantage and secures a takedown, but Rębecki bounces back up. Mateusz then gets his own takedown and lands some ground and pound. For Nick, it seems he’s content to wait for a mistake and try to prevent any massive blows.
Nick Fiore looks to take over in the third, looking fresher he is quickly halted by a string Rębecki takedown which delivers him to the mat with force. Mateusz is completely dominant and deals with the minimal resistance of Nick with ease. This earns Mateusz the round and the fight. Unanimous decision (30-26, 30-27, 30-27)
