UFC 313 has added a lightweight banger to the already stellar fight card, with Brazil’s Mauricio Ruffy taking on Bobby Green.
The event, which takes place on March 8th, will see Alex Pereira headline as he defends his title against Magomed Ankalaev.
The co-main event is a fight-of-the-year candidate. Justin Gaethje locks horns with Dan Hooker, in a scrap that is sure to deliver fireworks.
With these amazing bouts already on deck. The UFC has added another thrilling addition to the growing fight card.

For King Green it’s familiar territory, fighting an up-and-coming prospect who looks to use his name to propel himself into the division’s elite.
While a brief look at Green’s resume may not suggest one of the world’s best, fans of the sport know the challenge he can present. Most of his UFC losses have been against fighters who have gone on to do great things.
While his record of late hasn’t shown Green in top form. He is always dangerous and his unorthodox striking style always provides entertaining viewing.
His recent first-round knockout victory over Grant Dawson proves his credibility as a threat to Ruffy.

For Ruffy the opportunity to add a name like Green to his win list is an important part of his MMA evolution. The hotly-tipped Brazilian is one of the best prospects to appear in quite some time.

11-1 as a professional, Ruffy has won his last six bouts, five via stoppage. His only career decision came last time out against James Llontop in a short-notice replacement catchweight.
Expect a stand-up affair between Ruffy and Green with both favouring getting the job done on the feet. Boasting a combined 21 KO/TKO’s.
Green does hold nine submission wins, however, only one of those has come in his last 25 fights.
