Michael Bisping has told Youtuber turned Boxer Jake Paul to “Send Location” in a tweet responding to a Combat Sports UK article.
The piece detailed Paul’s self-composed “hit list” that he rhymed off to Teddy Atlas. The former middleweight champion has eluded to the idea of boxing “The Problem Child” in the past but now seems to be more inclined to toy with the idea.
Michael Bisping Accepts Jake Paul’s Call Out
In a follow-up tweet, Bisping posted a screenshot of the aforementioned article, as well as the caption
“Come on [Jake Paul], You do know I’m about your size?, Surely that excludes me from your “hit-list”.
This is most likely in reference to Paul’s past opponents seemingly undersized against the 25-year-old. During their MMA careers, Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley were both 170 lb fighters, and Jake Paul is far from an undersized cruiserweight (190 lbs).
Bisping, on the other hand, is a much different fighter. A former 205 lb contender and striking expert, “The Count,” would have both the cardio and cerebral fighting style to make the bout a proper gut check for the ever-improving Paul, who should be given credit at least for the strides he has made in his game. He is a genuine heavy hitter who has yet to taste defeat.
Jake Paul Responds!
Paul is not one to shy away from a social media exchange, and Bisping was not going to be the objection to the rule. Paul tweeted :
“Hendo” is the nickname given to Dan Henderson, a beloved MMA legend that handed Michael Bisping his most talked about defeat. It was a ruthless knockout at UFC 100, viewed millions of times. Bisping managed to avenge the loss during his title run, a victory I’m sure to put to bed a lot of demons for the Clitheroe native.
Paul offered that if Bisping could get a license, he has a serious offer for the Brit.
The possibility of this bout taking place has recently increased a few percentage points. Could the UK’s very own Rocky shock the world one last time?
Do you think Bisping will be the next man to take on Jake Paul?
