UFC 275 goes down this weekend in Singapore for the light-heavyweight title showdown between Glover Teixeira and Jiri Prochazka. However, the familiar voice of Joe Rogan will not be present at the overseas event. Michael Bisping has gotten the well-deserved nod to stand-in.
It’s no secret that Rogan shies away from international events, so to the more studied MMA, this is not a huge surprise.
MMA Junkie first broke the news, citing that UFC officials have confirmed the broadcast team will include UFC Hall of Famer Michael “The Count” Bisping.
Bisping has been an ever-present face on UFC Fight Night cards and is featuring more frequently in pay-per-view events. Many fans have welcomed this news, eager to see the former middleweight champion in the booth on a numbered card.
Alongside him will be play-by-play commentators Jon Anik and Daniel Cormier, who will be providing the colour commentary as well as Bisping.
Also on the card, flyweight queen Valentina Shevchenko will defend her belt against the 19-1 Taila Santos. We will also see a rematch of the 2020 fight of the year between Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Zhang Weili.
The UFC Fight Pass Prelims for UFC 275 will kick off at 23:30. The main card is then due to start at 03:00 on BT Sport.
